She began drooling on Tuesday night and I took her to the vet the next morning because our vet couldn’t do a house call. She had pneumonia. It went downhill quickly. She was only 4 months. The vet said the humidity and temperature change is probably what caused it, but I can’t help but have the feeling of responsibility on my heart.

Sometimes there is just nothing we can do and it breaks our hearts

I am so sorry for your loss. I sympathize, as I take every loss personally. I always wonder what I could have done to change the outcome. Sometimes there is just nothing else that can be done.

So sorry for your loss, how sad and heart breaking. Sounds like you done all you could and that speaks volumes. Sometimes things are just out of our control no matter how hard we try, so please don't be so hard on yourself.
