You sure your coop is big enough for 12 full grown hens?

I have 1 large eglu good for 6 hens, am buying a 2nd for the other 6.

Flocks will not divide themselves up willingly. The only way you're going to get 6 hens to use one eglu and the other 6 the second one is to physically separate the flock into two sub-flocks.

The flock doesn't care where the coop is or what the coop is they just want to roost together. Therefore the coop needs to be large enough and well ventilated enough to contain the entire flock.

I'd add, that once you split them into two coops, you will have two flocks. They will fight more amongst themselves.

What if they can free range together? Will they still fight?

Yes, they are coming in 2 weeks. 3 buff Orpingtons, 3 barred Plymouth Rocks, 2 Black Copper Marian’s, 2 Columbia Wyandottes, and 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes.
