Your coop reminds me of mine. I did some remodeling and added a run on the bottom. I was going to add a nest box on the side but I think I decided against it. I'm only going using it for bantam Seramas. My double doors are in the back.
This is the finished look.

I didn't put the shingles on, it came that way.

As cold as it gets here that would be waaaaaay too much air. We're supposed to hit -14 with high winds tomorrow night.

8sf of adjustable venting. Is what I should have said.
Open it up all the way when it is warm, close some of it down when it is cold.


I did miss the need to add windows part.​

Mine doesn't have windows but it does have 4 inch venting on both side and completely around the roof line that you can't see. I had to put hardware cloth on it because squirrels decided they like going inside.

Got it set today. Had us both sweating like a couple rednecks learnin' how to read. Funny I don't remember it being all that heavy.
