What's the latest time of year to hatch eggs?
I ask because I'm waiting for a hen to go broody so I can try the natural way (I've got a dozen set aside that I've been rotating). If one of them doesn't go broody then I'll get an incubator, but I'm trying to raise them within the flock so I don't have to deal with partitions or a separate coop and introducing them, etc. I prefer the natural way if at all possible. I've found plenty of info here on natural hatching, but not the answer to my question. Much obliged for any help.
