I could use some help trying to figure out what is wrong with our Brownie. Her comb is laid over but not pale, shes lathargic, won't eat or drink. Shes had crop issues in the past but was usually sour and easily remedied. Her crop however is not full and squishy, it feels empty besides grit. What do yall think?

I'm sorry your hen is having some troubles, others will likely be along with good advice in a little bit but in the meantime I know they will want to know the following information on her:

How old is she?

What feed are you using?

How long has she been showing symptoms?

What's the weather like in your area right now? (Hot, humid, dry etc)

Have you added any new chicks or birds to your flock recently?

What is her body condition?

Brownie is a 4year old Rhode Island Red
Our girls prefer the crumble layer feed with added vitamins and minerals. The symptoms have been present for a couple days. And her body seems thin, and her breast bone is quite prominent. The temps have bounced between low 80s and 90s and humidity has been tolerable but not pleasant. We haven't added to the flock this year. We brought her inside where the heat isnt a factor and can rest. Shes taken a few drinks of hydro hen and pooped a slight amount in the enclosure.
