Laughing Rooster???

Long Crowers, Laughing Roosters and Ayam Cemani all come from the same areas and breeders. They can be imported. Most breeders who have one have one of the other two as well. Long Crowers are more common in European poultry shows than they are in the States, and most of the ones I've seen have been in or from Germany (same thing with really high quality Phoenix). Laughing chickens and Ayam Cemani are available for quite a pretty penny (usually around 1-2 grand per pair) since they can only be imported from Indonesia by a very select few poultry dealers who have to jump through a lot of international hoops to get them (particularly thanks to transmissible diseases such as AI). Don't think I've ever seen all three offered by the same breeder, however.

ok, y'all have had 3 years to work on this. Anybody gotten one yet?

Just got 3 3 weeks ago...am hoping they are the roosters but at 3 weeks of age it is still hard to be sure.....

Lady in northern ID sells eggs, I don't remember the chicken name- The farm is Foxfire Farms?- name of the chicken Ketawa.

They were roosters and they did laugh and all was well until neighbors dog got out and killed them and the ducks ....
