hi!
i live in the upper peninsula of mi and am on my way to 27 hens. we are co-oping with another family on this endeavor.
our hens arrived on easter day. 26 red star hens and 1 rare breed (not sure what he/she is yet. . .)
i joined the byc forum, originally, to research coop options.

This might be a silly question....but what is involved with co-oping with the other family? Do you guys swap chickens? Give them eggs? haha. I'm excited to see you around here! I'm brand new too and it's nice to see who else is coming in here around the same time as me!
