Lav Orps. Are we both boys?

Here is the pic of my blue orp who hatched the same time as the lavs and see how you can see the difference in saddle feathers. I'm wondering if the Lavs take longer to mature?

the saddle and hackles on a lavender are the same color as the rest of the body. lavenders are not 2 toned like blue's are. the saddle feathers are there and they are hard to see without enlarging the pic

Sometimes the lavs don't have excellent feather quality, either... that might be contributing to what you're able to easily see. Were those your only lavenders?

I ordered eggs from a breeder and ordered 6 Lav and 6BBS. I had 3 Lavs hatch, 3 blues, and 2 blacks. I sold 1 black and 1 lav. The lav I sold probably was the only female.
