Lavendar Sex Link

Hi just a couple questions is lavendar sex linked and does it work the same as chocolate? If you mate a choc cockerel to black hen you get choc females and black split males.What would you get if you mated black male to lavendar female and does it work between differeent breeds,hope this makes sense.

Black over lavender will give you all visual black splits. The lav will not re-appear until you breed the splits together or breed a split to another lav. Lav x lav = 100% lav.

Many times different breeds have been used to introdce the color to a breed that doesn't have it yet- like the d'uccles to cochins, or d'anvers to ameraucanas. You then have to breed back to type.
