Lavender Ameraucana Breeders .... UNITE

Pics
Guess you could say I was lucky last year. Smith is a little over an hour from me and I got in and had my pick of pullets and cockerels. The pics I posted are chicks from my breeders. Paul is great to do business with!

Ha ha- she's already got several hundred! We have all had Smith stock for a few years now. They are nice. Long wait this year.

Well not Smith chicks...... these are my first. Forgot to get pics sorry. I do have several hundred chicks though...... i cant seem to sell anything right now. In the spring every one wanted started pullets but not chicks. I am not set up to grow out this many birds.

You got some from me way back when though, and they were 1/2 Smith, so you've had the lines in there.

Yeah but not HUNDREDS lol

i wish i could figure out how come i only have one lav hen.......i dont remember selling them all. I have 4 splits 2 are broody now. :p

My girls are dropping like flies into broodiness. I am scrambling for places to put them all. They aren't going to be to happy at hatch time- they all have duck eggs!

Donna, this is my lone survivor from your eggs back in march. He's 8 weeks old and I think he is white. He's super super light and I know you mentioned your birds carried recessive, is it possible that he ended up with 2 copies? Thinking of putting him in with my EE girls if you think he's no good :)

Yes it is white. I would not use it with lavs. If you dont have whites then an EE pen is best.
