I had a Feb 19th order from Paul that was moved back to March 4th. I haven't heard any different so hopefully they will be here next week. I've got 7 Blacks and 8 Lavs coming. This is my first ever shipment of live chicks. Kinda worried about that. They don't have far to go though. Good luck Donna and ChickNmomma with your shipments!

Thank you, it is hard to wait. I see they departed the sort facility in MI this morning.. waiting on updates. They are supposed to go to TN, then to Sacramento, CA.

Lav chicks!2 of these are from my smith split hen.Toe punched.Now to raise up a nice cockerel from the smith hen to use later this year.
Pullets will take a bit longer.Improvement is coming.

I might need to check with him and see if he thinks we are ok for the date he gave us. If the ones due on the 19th got pushed further out ours might too. We have 40 chicks coming. I think 10 each black lavender blue wheaten and wheaten.

Mine were due to ship on 2/19 and I got an email on the 13th saying it would be delayed till the next hatch date of 3/4. Thats Monday and he hasn't sent anything else so we'll see.

They got here this morning, the silver AMs had a rough ride. The Lav and Lav split are happily running around eating and drinking - but I lost 3 silvers already and two more look really bad and two are very weak. I have been keeping them warm and giving them water with electrolites.. I hope I can save the two...

Maybe he will replace the. Sometimes they have a live chick guarantee and since they were late should get express shipping refunded might have been insured..... just thinking out loud.

I am Calvin from south Louisiana and will be getting Lavender Ameraucana eggs from Happy tomorrow and should get chicks from Paul Smith soon. I look forward to trying these chickens and learning from ya'll about breeding them.
