Im looking for a pic of an adult rooster that reflects the coloration of the lavender gene on the black coloration on the bird. I don't mean a pic of a whole bird that's lavender. Look at the pic I will post and see what I mean the lav bird is on the right. I think I had some more to hatch today, but I'd like to know what the Roos will look like as all I've hatched are hens and the father is a blue wheaten.

so to understand your question you are wanting to know how a lavender wheaten rooster looks? ok, keep in mind that wheaten, partridge and duckwing rooster all look a like(not the hens) they the the phenotype of a Black Breasted Red bird,

having said that a lavender wheaten(based on gold) will look just like lavender partridge Brahma(based on Partridge brown eb) and Isabella leghorns(based on wildtype duckwing e+)

Would the chick down be different in the lavenders vs. the blue wheatens? Two chicks hatched out white the others are yellow as usual.
