Lavender Ameraucanas - Male or Female?

Hey there!

I’ve got 2 lavender Ameraucanas, 4 months old or so, that need sexing! Fairly certain but want to get a second opinion before rehoming. Thank you so much for any help!

I’m unsure since I’m new to the breed, but my post will bump this up in the threads so others can see it, but I’d say I think they are cockerels.

I’d say cockerel…that’s a lot of comb for four months. The feathers make it super hard to tell if there are saddle/hackle feathers or not though.

Looks like 2 boys to me. I have 6 Lavender Ameraucana that are 5 months old.

I agree although this post is from April so I’m sure they’ve figured it out by now. Maybe they’ll come back and update though!
