I have 2 lavenders 9ish weeks and wanted to get your thoughts one is larger but neither act like cockerels. What do y’all think? I’m the pick of both birds my suspect is on the right. Thank you!

Could you get closeup pictures of their saddle feathers? Also, the one on the left is an easter egger, ameraucanas have a full beard and muffs.
Interesting. All my other “Easter eggers” are a mix of colors. Came from the same hatching eggs as the the other Lavenders I have but she is the only one without a beard and muffs.

It could just be a bad quality ameraucana, but if the parents are pure they shouldn't produce a beardless chick.

Agree with above. Both look like pullets, and the one doesn't meet the SOP for an Ameraucana. Did your breeder call them 'AmerIcana?' if they did, then its a flag that they may be easter eggers.
Oh, and easter eggers do come in lavender, and other solid colors.

They were sold as lavender Ameraucana’s not a huge deal I just want fresh eggs. Hindsight is 20/20 but if I did it all over again i would have just bought 10-12 hens that were just starting to lay and skipped the rooster re-homing and wondering what I actually have.
