Lavender Americauna Roo + Black Americauna hen

Hi All! We have a lavender Americauna Roo and a collection of black Americauna hens. What will the offspring of these look like? (The babies would just be for us- not interested in selling.)

I have a feeling black might be dominant but I dont know..

If they’re true ameraucanas, you’ll get blacks that are split to lavender. Meaning they have one copy of the recessive lavender gene but do not express it.

I agree you’ll have black split to lavender. Oh and just wanted to let you know that ameraucana = pure and americauna with an I = Easter egger.
