A color question: Could lavender x porcelain produce full lav, or would it just dilute the porcelain appearance? Would lavs from this combination breed true? Sonoran?

since both have the recessive lavender gene, YES they will be geneticaly Lavender. I don't know if Self Blue silkies are based on Extended black or not but if they are, they are dominant over the porcelain color, Mottling is also recessive so it wont show in this breeding, But could show up at a latter time if you breed some of the offsprings a a latter time... they will most likely be self blues. with some color leakage..

First, porcelains have two copies of lavender, so bred to a lavender will not further dilute them. Some silkie lavenders appear to be E based and others e^b. Since the genotype and unfortunately even the phenotype, of what is often called porcelain is not very completely set (there ARE breeders who have good porcelains, but there are not nearly as many as there are who claim that any mixed blueish and buffish bird is porcelain). Note that in porcelain silkies, mottle has not been bred into them (yet).
