I wouldn't put anything scented in, especially chemical filled artificially scented things, in with birds as they have sensitive respiratory systems.

Plus I find the whole aroma therapy thing is suspect for humans,
let alone birds who can't tell you if they feel more relaxed or whatever....
...or tell you if they feel like they can't breathe with all that miasma of scent surrounding them. I know it can give me a sick headache.

Herbs and natural ingredients- I grow them use them in my coop/ nest bedding. Mostly the birds just have fun eating it.

Perfumes and chemicals- probably not the best idea, they only smell of lavender and probably contain no real esstential oil or actual benefit. They’d likely only irritate your birds lungs.
