of my youngest lavender leghorn chick - hatched on August 5th. Can you tell me if you think it is a pullet or a roo,please?

 
Why do think that? I hope it isn't, as it is very tame and we've all got very attached to it

i agree, its probably a roo. the size of the comb at this age is looks too big to be a hen, but leghorn hens do have larger combs i believe.

I'm going to say cockerel because of the size and redness of the comb, but hold onto him and post another pic in a month just to be sure.
 
thats a tuffy at 7 weeks...i want to say cockerel but leghorns combs grow pretty fast. re-post when it reaches 15 weeks of age. by then the saddles and hackles of a cockerel would be coming in if it is a cockerel
