I currently have Orpingtons, both Lavender and Buff. I would like to transition to Leghorns because I'm in this for the egg production but I love the Lavender coloration of my Orps. How could I get this coloration into some Leghorns? I have an animal science degree so I realize it would take a while but... can it be done?
