Lavender Maran roo or pullett?

] I had 18 Marans eggs (9 French Maran and 9 lavender Maran) only these four hatched and my favorite is starting to show pink comb. Is it to early to tell roo or pullet. The pink comb one is also the only one with feathers on feet and was first to hatch. If that helps at all. Hatch date was June 25 so they are also are almost 5 weeks old.

I hatched French Blue Copper Marans 3 months ago and got 1 splash, which looks a lot like your bird in question. I am still not sure if it is a cockerel or pullet, am seeing traits of both. Yours, however has larger wattles than your your other 3 birds, so I am guessing you have a cockerel on your hands. Good luck If you are planning on keeping him, do not handle him too much or he will become human aggressive when his hormones kick in.
