Lavender Marans pullets or Roos?

First time In a long time i have had chicks and I know it's a challenge to sex these guys yet . I keep flip flopping on my decisions! The first picture of the chick's back feathers tell me rooster and the more downy fluffy compact chicks might be hens? Either way, they are all beautiful but hopefully I do get more men's than roos!

Hopefully they well. My understanding is that they are originally bred from BCM and lavender Orpingtons. But either way, they are very pretty chickens and will lay brown eggs

How lovely. This my first time hearing about lavender marans. I wouldn't mind getting some. I have chicken envy

It' s so hard to stop! So many beautiful chickens to choose from and producing so many different colored eggs! I'm sure there's a few cockerels in the bunch! I am in British Columbia

Oh that's great! My dad was born there, but I've never been...
