lavender mottled orpington

Is there anyway to make lavender mottled opringtons from blue mottled orpington? Just curious if that's possible and if so can someone explain the process as simply as possible as genetics is not my strong suit. Thanks

In short, no. You need the lavender gene. It is very ill advised to mix lavender and blue since lavender is recessive and can hide, you often end up with very muddled genetics. Starting with mottled and mixing to lavender would be a much better place to start!
