Lavender or Lavender Split Ameracaunas

Does anyone know of a thread that explains the genetics of the Lavender Ameracaunas. I like the lavenders and I am trying to find someone who has been breeding them for some time and has some good stock. Do you want to have Lav splits or if you just have lavender roosters and hens does the breeding line have less integrity unless you breed in the blacks. I have B/B/S Ameracaunas and I would like to branch out into the lavenders. Just not sure if I want to get only lavenders or splits. Any input would be much appreciated

I think it would be better to get pure lavs if you can and breed them to the blacks that you already have and make your own splits if that's what you are wanting.
