Hi all. Have my first chicken problem today. It is a lavender orpington chick that is 3 weeks old as of Sunday. Not sure how much she weighs but is a fatty and has grown a lot since we got her about two weeks ago. The problem just started today. When she walks, she is sorta stepping on her other foot and just looks really wobbly like she is about to fall over and sometimes she will just lay down. She is not crying or anything like that and one time I saw her leg just kinda give out and she laid down. None of the others are having the same symptom. Nothing looks broken or bleeding. I did not see anything happen that could have caused it. Yesterday she was jumping around like everyone else. She is eating medicated food and millworms/grit. Drinking water. Her poop looks good, solid not runny, with no blood or anything abnormal looking. I put her in a high box in the brooder for now to separate her from the rest. I feel like she may have injured herself, jumping around with the others and hope that some isolated rest will get her going again. We put some electrolytes in her water and put her by herself. Bedding is pine shavings which we have used since we got them. I have a video that shows what she is doing but can't post it on here and a photo won't show anything. I appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

How is she doing now?

Update. She is not doing so well but still alive. We started giving her infant vitamin drops about two days ago and giving her save a chick vitamin water along with putting her food next to her so she didn't have to move to it to eat. She started laying down with her left foot straight out in front of her. Anytime she would put weight on it she would start screaming and flopping around. Once it was in a comfortable position then she would eat/drink and cluck like normal. Here is a pick of how she was sitting

I spoke with a local farm vet and sent him this picture. I told him my plan when getting off work today was to isolate the leg and he agreed to do an xray on Monday to try and confirm which joint/bone is injured. Hopefully it gives us an exact treatment or which joint to isolate. We are trying to keep her comfy and fed/watered. We have also wrapped the leg in gauze, for support, and a sports wrap around that to immobilize the leg that I believe is injured. We also mixed up some asprin in water to help with the pain and gave that through a syringe. She is now in a sling that we made out of an atomic fireball candy container and a sheet. Her food and water is in two lids from milk jugs. She has went through 4 lids of food already tonight. She is fully aware of what is going on and when she is comfy is her happy self just clucking away while eating and what not. I really am hoping for the best here, for some reason I just can't bring myself to let her die. Here is a picture of her current setup. We will continue to care for her until her xray on Monday, let's hope that the vet has the answer to having her back on her feet!
