Hello,

My 1year old lavender Orpington hen (so sweet) had failure to thrive. Finally she grew into a beauty but she sometimes walks a little funny and slow.. she can’t roost .. so at night she’s in a dog crate (in the coop) with another hen. There’s a very low roost but she chooses not to use it. Fast forward till today..
1. She can barely walk. No swelling on feet or legs. Wing hangs a little.
2. She eats and drinks.
3. She is laying eggs.
4. She is in a dog crate away from the others.

Thoughts?

TYIA!

So sorry she’s not feeling well! Such a cutie!
Have you checked for pests (lice, mites, ect?) is her crop emptying properly? Is her belly swollen at all? Last time she laid an egg?
