I agree that the first pictures are lavenders. In the bottom picture, is that first one a lavender?

I have hatched a few Lavenders today. I noticed one mottled also. I will take pictures when they are all fluffed out.

My Lavender hatch. The last 3 were not fluffing up, due to the high humidity from all the chicks hatching. I finally took them out and put them under the light.

I have my first two lav Orp babies and I am IN LOVE! They are only 2 weeks old.

Silly question....I just hatched 7 out of 8 eggs (yay!!!!) from scbatz. I ended up with 2 lavs, 4 split black and a very cute yellow chick with a lav spot on its back. What is the yellow chickie? How will it feather out? What will it breed? Just curious....its a little cutie pie.

Very excited as now I have 6 lav, 8 split black and an odd yellow/lav chickie from my eggs from gumpsgirl, hinkjc and scbatz that have hatched this past week. Hopefully they are not all boys, lol.

There are a few pics on my site that show how they feather out. If they feather in black or lavender mottled depends on if they're black or lavender. But you can see the differences on my site.
