I just recently got into orpington's. I acquired a 9 month old pair and 3 eggs. Just hatched the eggs out this weekend and this is one of my babies

These are about 20-21 weeks old (calendar is in another room). I bought them from ebay. The seller said they she purchased 5th generation directly off the hinkjc farm. I really like the rooster. (It is the same one in both pics, but he was unhappy in the 2nd one because I pulled him off of his roost to take the pic.) lol! The hens are an action shot and it's not the best pic.

I have some black orp babies ordered from hinkjc due to hatch Saturday! YAY! Looking for more improvement although I must say I am pretty pleased with how these are coming along!!

You're not going to find english type (or much type at all) in the lavenders unless you buy imported lines.
