I have no idea where she was hiding
but pretty as a picture, she just waddled up
    whew
    ************************

I let them out of their still secure coop around 2pm
    it's 4 now
    everyone else is accounted for
the yard has tons of cover and they all hang out in the hot part of the day under the bushes out by their coop.
I have searched the yard and do not see the lav orp hen anywhere
she is usually first to run to me for treats
she had not started laying but she's about the right age to start,
so my hope is she is under a bush someplace
but you would think a lavendar hen would no camoflague well

I asked the neighbor and looked over the other fences
no sign of a hawk attack
my dogs were with me and are GREAT wtih the chickens
    yard is secure
I sure hope she shows up and was just trying out her houdini act.
    she's such a sweetie pie
hold a good thought for us.... [IMG]
