Hi all! I am just looking for some help. I have 8 lavender Orpington that I picked up May 17, 2024. They were all about a day old at that time. They are almost 21 weeks old now. I’m super new to chickens so I am just wondering thoughts on gender. They all look so different. I have attached photos for reference. They have no started laying yet and no crowing either which I would think would have started by now? Anyways - any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

Give them until middle of Nov. before they start laying. Look like females but largest comb could be rooster.

Those are pullets, it is normal for them to not be laying yet, I have four 22 week old pullets and only one is laying so far.
Okay! Thank you. I wasn’t so much worried about laying yet but my husband is convinced that one is a cockerel lol so I said fine! I’m going to ask my chicken community lol
