Will lavender orpingtons always breed true or do I have to add black back in for future generations?

to introduce new blood use a Black Orp Hen

you can get an unrelated LAV ORP and breed that to get new blood

LAV x LAV breeds True

the black is just another and harder option

simple way is to just use a new lav orp

but currently your ok just use the roo and hens you have and go from there

Thank you so much for the info. Someone told me you had to add in black blood to keep the lavenders true and I panicked. I love my Lavenders.
