Hi
we have recently collected a Lavender Pekin who was found with her 3 chicks thrown over a fence in a farmers field, he didnt want her but was happy to keep the chicks (dont worry they were old enough to be ok without her) so we decided to take her. Shes lovely and has settled in well with our other 9 hens. Its not an issue at all but she does talk alot haha. We have never had a pekin before so i dont know if this is maybe just something the breed does, but she clucks allot - happy clucks - but still its way more than the other hens. Any ideas why? or is this just the breed? Thanks
