When they first hatched they looked like fuzzy little penguins but now that they're fluffing out their RIR coloring is becoming more apparent.

Super pretty. I have blue australorps crossed with Rhode island reds and heres my favorite one. She got the most red. The others have some but not as much as her.

I wonder what a Blue Australorp and a Buff Orpington would be as a mix...? Maybe I'll know in a couple years.

Do you by chance have any other pictures of these RIR and LO mix as full grown? I'm curious what they look like when full grown. I have LO hens and a RIR rooster and will be mixing them together.
