Lavender silkie chick?

Halloween chick hatched right on schedule but the color threw me. Black roo w/lav gene and dark blue hen w/lav gene. I was expecting black or blue but got this....

I think that should probably be lav. I've had splash chicks hatch that color, but you shouldn't get splash from black x blue. I also had one cochin hatch with identical color, and now she looks "black laced blue", if that makes any sense.

I am going to kill those neighbors if I can't have chickens again, I really miss having chicks......

I would think this would be a lavender chick. to my understanding lavender is a simple recessive gene that dilutes
Black and blue coloring to a pale grey. Cute chick!
