Lavender Silkies approx 5 months old

The strange thing is that they are VERY bonded and are never far from each other - will roosters that are brought up together since chicks act this way?

I'd say first cockerel second pullet. Pretty Silkies :-) And yes, even if they are both roos, they will be very bonded. I have two Polish boys, kept together and never seperated since hatch, that are absolutely inseparable. They get along wonderfuly :-)

The first silkie is definitely more vocal. The second silkie has always kind of huddled under the other if she was nervous. One night they both let a 4 week old chick cuddle up in between them, would a cockerel do that?

A Silkie cockerel deffinately would. I've had two of my Silkie boys help sit on and hatch eggs, then help raise the chicks. Silkies are super parents, even the roosters :-)

They both look like cockerels to me. Also, they appear to be Porcelain (self blue cream) and not pure lavender. They're lovely!

Wow! I have two Polish roosters that are BEST friends too! Must be a Polish thing.
