Lavender speckled egg!

Just thought I'd share this cool egg I got this morning from my Barnevelder hen. I've never seen anything like it. She just started laying recently nice dark brown eggs and this morning she surprised me with this beauty with lavender speckles!

Beautiful egg!
have several hens that lay eggs with purple spots. I've been told that they are calcium deposits but I use an all flock feed with calcium in a seperate container.
