LAVENDER Split LF Ameraucana 6+

I hate to sound stupid but when you say your hens are still small, does this mean the girls are bantams being covered by LF roos? Beautiful BTW!

No the girls are not bantams, they are LF. the deal with lavender ameraucanas is that they were first devoleped as bantams and over the last few years they have been breed up to LF. They are about twice the size of a bantam, but not quite as large as my black LF hens. Maybe a pound lighter or so. With the continuing work of us with the LF lavenders we will get the size up a little more and we will get them accepted, as they arent currently!!!

Are you breeding Lavendar Araucanas also ?... I saw someone in PA was...., would be interested in lavendar Ameracaunas
