Lavender x Buff = Black?

I wouldn't forget to include you but my spell check believed I meant Icelandic and I missed the change. Spell check makes more mistakes than I do I think.
I'd read your post and wondered who Icelandic was! Here I thought I was missing someone.....I'm with you, spell check is a PITA on a chicken board.

I really dislike the spell check on my phone. Usually I'm good about catching the changes it makes as sometimes the corrections are really out there!

Anyway, nicalandia I am glad you are willing to forgive my error this time. :) And I am glad you are willing to share your knowledge with us here.

Hi Everyone. I'm really really sorry for not answering this sooner. Life has been truly consuming. My Lavenders are lavenders we went back and seperated the lavenders with the lavender cock and hen, and we took their eggs, and then hatched them. All the babies come out lavender.
So we assume that the buff hen x Lavender cockerel produced the black chicks with slight gold around their necks. Anyway, Here are updated pictures of them :] They've turned out to be fantastic. Everychick i hatched turned out to be a hen lmao, i'm very lucky.

These were all taken last summer, so they've all changd considerably again. They're three times the last image lol, When i get some new ones i'll be sure to update you all. I will leave you with a picture of the father, and a picture of all three of them together.
