Lawn Fertilizer and grass clippings

My husband applied Scott's triple action fertilizer on our lawn in March... It is now June and hes mowing the lawn and wondering if he could give my chickens the grass clippings? I don't think so but please advise. Thank you so much!

I, personally, would not. Fertilizer can be toxic to your chickens, unless it's an organic kind. But even then, you still have to be careful about what people consider "organic".
