Lay egg pointy end down or on its side ? HELP

Thanks guys ! Okay so I got impatient and candled a few today I can't see anything but the yolk that's in there no veins or anything ?

I wouldn't worry. It is still very early yet.

even with my super light-colored Faverolles eggs, its hard to see anything before about Day 5 - and even then it's only very very faint veining and maybe a darkish spot...and I have only learned to look for and see that much that early after candling literally hundreds of eggs. Wait until Day 7 to 10, and you should be able to see some pronounced veining and maybe a little movement, depending on what breed you're incubating - I am running some Basque eggs through my incubator for a friend, and they're a challenge! Not as dark as a Marans egg, but still enough that on Day 14 all i can make out is a bit of wiggling, and that only if i sit very still in a very dark room.
