Lay Pellets

I didnt realize this, but our lay pellets come with oyster shells in them. Today I was looking really close at the feed and found oyster shells.
Is this norm?

What brand is it? Is it the same price as others with out the shell?

Its directly milled from the feed store. Its the only lay pellet. Its 40 cents per pound, which is a good deal since 10 pounds goes a long way, since my hens free range most of the day
