Layena Feed vs. Southern States 16% Layer

I live outside Seymour, in Indiana. Thanks for the tip. I dont go to North Vernon much, but may have to start making the trip for the feed. Next time Im in town, I'll have to locate their store and grab a bag. Or Two, or more...

I've been using Southern States All-Grain Layer Crumbles for the past year, and am now switching to the Layer Pellets. There's way too much dust in the crumbles; it seems like it's about 70% crumbles and 30% dust.

thanks all for info! new to chickens, a couple weeks now-- started on the layena, they dumped some in the yard yesterday & I figured it would be fine for the dogs to clean up. ugghhhh! midnight, 2am and 4:30 am they went out with large piles of nasty poops! (sorry)hoping no more surprises today. I was mortified to see the ingredients in the layena. I feed grain free to my dogs, and the nondescript grain & other by-products in layena scares the heck out of me. I'm going to try the southern states, hopefully I can find it locally.
