So, I was following this thread a couple of days ago, and I realized what I suspected. The TSC chicken feed I bought for my layers wasn't top quality stuff.
I located a feed store in my area that I THOUGHT sold Kent Layer Feed. My wife went to pick up a bag, and they didn't carry it. She came home with what was recommended.
It's made by Tucker Milling, LLC. It's called Layer 16 Crumbles.
16% Crude Protein (Min)
3% Crude Fat (Min)
7.5% Crude Fiber (Max)
The bag says..."Feed as the sole ration to laying hens. Consumption will average 0.5 to 2.0 lbs. per week depending on age and breed."
Does anybody use this or have comments?
