Layer Feed and risks to younger birds?

Got my first eggs yesterday and today! When can I move to layer feed and what is the risk to the younger birds I have (approximately 3-4 weeks behind the ones laying now)?

i don't think it'll effect them too much since chicken knows when they want calcium and when they don't. Chickens eat bugs with shell cover for calcium anyways.

I started feeding my leghorns layer feed at 2 months and they lay great and healthy.
