I have my ladies outside one of which will be of laying age soon but the other ladies in my flock are a couple months in age behind . So my question is if it's ok if layer feed is mixed in with the younger ones feed that are not yet laying ? I just gave everyone a bit of fermented feed to see how they liked that and it went over pretty darn well so I thought I'd feed them that as well regularly ..just not sure how all this factors in with a layer on the horizon . Or if I should even worry .
Thank you in advance for the advice :)

I have multiple age in my flock, and I feed them all high protein flock raiser crumble with oyster shells on the side for calcium for those that needs them. Then switch all of them to omega plus layer feeds after I know all are laying.
