Layer Feed too Early?

So, I started my hens on layer feed about 1 week ago thinking that I was supposed to start BEFORE they started laying. They are 18 weeks old and haven't started laying yet. I'm reading now that if they aren't laying they could be getting too much calcium from the feed. Should I put them back on starter grower until they do start laying?

You can do half and half, ideally (imo) they should eat starter until full grown, about 24-30 weeks old.
