My friend gave me two 1 y.o. hens and a rooster. I thought we were getting her 8 week old chicks instead, so I bought a big bag of grower feed. Currently this is what they're eating- it's only been a few days, but can I continue to give it to them, without hurting their bodies or egg quality? I don't want to waste it- although my friend could probably use it.

Does it have medication in it? They should be fine with it, just make sure they have free choice oyster shell for the calcium they need.
