layin eggs

My black sex link started layin eggs in January about the last week or so then she stopped about a week ago right after my EE started. Can this be because of the weather. Can someone help me.

Yes, weather does play a big part in laying. If it got really cold out, they can stop laying. This time of year with the low light, birds can lay on and off until their hormones go into more action in the spring.

Also health plays a big part in laying, so give them an over all check up to make sure they don't have bugs, respiratory ailments or other issues.

Make sure this bird is eating and drinking properly as well.
