Laying 2 eggs at a time?

I have 9 chickens. 6 that lay brown eggs and 3 that lay green. Lately we've been getting a total of 9 eggs per day and each day it's 7 brown eggs and 2 green eggs. What's going on? Is one chicken laying 2 eggs at a time? It's just after noon and I've gathered 7 brown eggs already. Is it possible that one of our EE's is now laying brown eggs? We have yet to see 3 green eggs in one day. Does anyone else experience this?

You likely have an EE that lays brown eggs. It happens.

Yep, very possible (what debid said). I have 3 EE and two of them lay brown.

It's quite possible that you've got an EE laying brown. They can lay any color.
