laying box size

Since I am almost done with my coop. What's a good size each laying box?

I built mine 18x18' although I've heard lots of ppl with limited space do 12x12' or even 10x10'. Frankly I think that's too small, and I decided to build 3 larger boxes rather than 4 smaller ones to make sure they have enough room. Odds are good they will choose a favorite box and everyone will want to lay in it.
