Laying ducks

Ok so I have 4 ducks (not sure of gender) and 2 chicken hens i no my chickens lay one egg a day my ducks on the other hand im sure after today ive only found one here and there but today i found this... pictures on post there was 11 eggs in that nest .. so my question is how many eggs does a duck lay a day?

They lay 1 just like chickens...and some will skip a day in between...this time of year our Rouens will slack back some, but the Khakis will keep on laying....I think ya found a 2-3 day nest given your numbers....possibly 4 days........with the protective bloom on them they should be okay to eat.

Would more than one duck lay in the same nest

Ours do regularly out of 10hens we have gotten 7-8 in the nest and a couple scattered....guess they couldn't hold out for their turn on the nest...
